Grab the glass cleaner, of course. How about if there’s a water splash on the bathroom mirror, what do you do? You grab the glass cleaner again. You don’t even have to think very hard about it. It’s pretty obvious. But now here’s a question that’s a little harder. If your pant’s zipper is stuck, what do you do? Glass cleaner probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, but believe it or not glass cleaner can be used for so much more than just cleaning glass or mirrors. It can actually be used for stuck zippers too.

To be honest, glass cleaner ranks right up there with the multi-purpose rubber band and dryer sheet. And since Glass Doctor® wants you to get the biggest bang for your buck, we’ve come up with a handy-dandy list of out-of-the-ordinary uses for glass cleaner. But if you have a use for glass cleaner that isn’t on our list, make sure to let us know. We would love to share it with others.

Stuck Zippers

Spray 1-2 squirts of glass cleaner on the zipper and with a quick pull your zipper will be free.

Stainless Steel

Use glass cleaner with a cotton cloth to clean stainless steel and tile for streak-free shine.

Electronics

Pick up dust with a quick wipe of the outer shell of electronics using a cloth moistened with glass cleaner.

Carpet Stains

Spray a clear glass cleaner formula on the carpet stain and let it sit for 15 minutes, then wash it out.

Bugs

Attack bugs on contact with a shot of glass cleaner. Don’t battle stinging bugs though; you could provoke a sting.

Whiteboard

Clear off stubborn dry erase maker stains with a little glass cleaner and a paper towel.

Car

Glass cleaner works perfectly for not only the windows, but also the dashboard and steering wheel. And there’s no greasy mess to deal with.

Grease

Knock out grease splatters on your stove top with glass cleaner, a sponge and a quick wipe.
