OKLAHOMA CITY (January 6, 2015) – Glass Doctor® of Oklahoma City, with the help of Glass Doctor of Tulsa, recently donated and installed new windows for the Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City. Glass Doctor partnered with Tristar Glass and Sunbelt Rentals to donate the supplies and complete the installation. The donation was valued at $1,700.
Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City has given families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals a comfortable place to stay for many years. The Ronald McDonald House was preparing for an inspection from their board of directors and needed the windows to be fixed prior to the inspection.
The second story windows proved to be a challenge, but the Glass Doctor team was able to work with Sunbelt Rentals to develop scaffolding to help safely install the windows.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to donate our time and resources to help the Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City and honored to be able to provide installation services,” stated John Vestring, owner of Glass Doctor of Oklahoma City and Tulsa. “The work that the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City does is so important, and we are glad to be able to provide any help we can, so they can focus on the children and families they serve,” Vestring added.
